I can't stress it enough: color-blocking is taking over our accessories this spring,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the Miumiu bag nails it. The vivid Kelly green is amazing (it reminds me of freshly cut grass - how spring is that?),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], especially with the silver peeking out beneath the front flap. I do like the new covered closure (which is on most of the Spring Summer bags),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is actually faux - a magnetic snap is hidden underneath. While it is kind of on the small side,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], this is a great cross-body bag that can be adjusted to a shoulder length. The straps also totally detach turning it into a clutch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's a bit thick and the loop hardware shows but it's acceptable. Convertible and eye-catching: I'll take it.
Wear it with the Vivian Westwood Anglomania's Dione striped jersey dress in navy and white stripes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it doesn't compete with the bag,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], thanks to its classical simplicity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but is equally crisp and attention-grabbing.
This bag makes me wonder if the label will remain a one-hit wonder. While I love this new take on a tote (a cool,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], unique strap and gunmetal hardware),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that enormous python panel is kind of gross - the odd,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flashy square of pink metallic does not work with the khaki shade (in pebble leather) of the bag. I would have done it in contrasting colors,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], rather than a pairing that almost matches but really clashes. I am still waiting for an acceptable sequel to your debut round of awesome bags. Are you up for the challenge?
