Off to the Grasslands Chifeng, Inner Mongolia Wo

We had a productive two days of interviews with the Executive Director – Huo Zhuren, Vice Director – Hao Zhuren,moncler jackets, Board Executive and head of the Chifeng Women’s Federation – a national governmental agency, and the Chifeng accountant. The team seems incredibly knowledgeable and the leaders have gained great insights and experience over the past ten years since they started the microfinance institution in coordination with the UN Development Program and the local Women’s Federation.

Now we’re off to the dessert (is that spelled correctly or is it “desert”…) to visit a branch and some of the clients. The area we are headed to Youqi,Men moncler jackets, is about a hundred and twenty miles away. The Youqi area is a grassland and the villagers there live in these very cool circular white tee-pee (sorry for the spelling again) huts. Very exciting! I’ll have pictures in the next entry.
Zhang Sheng and I arrived this two days ago on the night train from Beijing at 6:30am in Chifeng,chi flat iron, Inner Mongolia. So far it has been an exciting trip. First of all,Louis Vuitton Handbags, just the name “Inner Mongolia” sounds like an adventure,christian louboutin, something out of an Indiana Jones movie. Second of all Chifeng Zhaowuda Women Association of Sustainable Development (“Chifeng”) is supposedly the best MFI in China. After hearing so much about it, it’s great to see the institution in person. It is SO different here from Yilong, Sichuan. Everything here is big,women moncler jackets, and spread out,Christian Louboutin, China’s version of Texas. The land is dry, the buildings are huge, the weather is harsh. (It's about 5 degrees below zero...brrrrr..)
