Marc Savard Jersey survives scare
The Boston Bruins were breathing a collective sigh of relief when veteran center Marc Savard Jersey skated for more than an hour at a Sunday practice and reported feeling good, less than 24 hours after being knocked “woozy” by a check from Pittsburgh defenseman Deryk Engelland.
Marc Savard Jersey’s head was driven into the boards by Engelland, who appeared to get him with an elbow. He stayed down on the ice while being attended by Bruins trainer Don DelNegro before finally getting up and skating to the bench.
Marc Savard Jersey, who missed the end of last season and the first two months of this season with severe concussion symptoms, took his next shift and played the rest of the game, although he told the Boston Herald he was crossing his fingers that the headaches wouldn’t recur.
“A little woozy,NCAA Jerseys, to be honest with you,” Marc Savard Jersey told the newspaper when asked how he felt after the game. “But we’ll see how I feel the rest of the day here and night. I haven’t seen the replay. It felt like he just got my head, so I don’t know. But (I feel) a little woozy.
“Just a little dazed. I haven’t gotten a headache yet or anything like that. Just a little dazed and just getting your bell rung a bit. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about right now.”
According to CSNNE.com, Marc Savard Jersey was checked out by doctors after the game and appeared healthy and confident at the Sunday practice. He was joined by defenseman Steven Kampfer, who said he suffered through a fitful night while hold an ice bag on the broken nose he suffered against the Penguins. Kampfer practiced with a full face cage to protect the injury. |
